With the teaching of Rev. John Grace, an ordained minister and missionary evangelist, Divine Grace International Ministries travels to different community churches and home groups to preach the Gospel within the United States and abroad. In addition, he spends an ample amount of his time receiving numerous phone calls requesting prayers for healing. Rev. John Grace dedicates all of his time, one hundred percent, to the ministry. Whenever there is an opportunity to preach the Gospel, Rev. John Grace takes full advantage of those occasions.
Divine Grace International Ministries was founded in 2011 and is based in Neosho, Missouri, U. S. A. It is a teaching, healing and impartation ministry with a heart for the nations. Rev. John Divine Grace received a call from God, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” Rev. John answered, “Here am I. Send me!” just as the Prophet Isaiah answered the Lord. The ministry exists to fulfill the biblical commissions of Jesus:
“As you go, preach this message: ‘The Kingdom of heaven is near’. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” ~ Matthew 10:7-8
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” ~ Matthew 28:19-20
Divine Grace International Ministries offers training, conferences, humanitarian aid and ministry trips in an effort to raise up a company of men and women who will facilitate revival among the nations’ leaders. The ministry works in accordance with the revelation to the Apostle Paul regarding the purpose of the five-fold ministries: “It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-13). Led by Rev. John Grace, the ministry has visited many countries and continues to travel extensively to bring hope, healing and power to the nations.
There is a place for you in the Body of Christ, perfectly suited to who you are and who God has made you to be. This is not a singular call for superstars and perfect replicas of those who have gone before. This is for the everyday Christian. It is time to run after Him, to pursue the unique plans that Jesus has for your life. “On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him” (John 7:37-38). He has set this before us, a call to be a generation of signs and wonders that is prepared to carry out the great harvest of souls prophesied for years. Come and be equipped to step into your destiny. Jesus is looking for you.
About Rev. John Grace
As the Indo-Pak war of 1971 waged on, all of India felt the effects of poverty that consumed over 50 percent of the population at that time. In the small town of Thrissur, Kerala, this poverty drove John’s family to the bare necessities. Their “apartment” was originally built as a small store that was part of a shopping strip. The family’s food was rationed to a limited supply of imported wheat and corn with no meat protein to accompany their meals. Young John and his mother would have to go to a neighbor’s well to draw fresh drinking water since they did not have a personal well. Clothing was limited to two sets for each of the four children in the home. Due to the lack of income, medicine was out of the question.
The young boy lay on his thin layer of banana leaves as the village doctor gave his prognosis: fatal smallpox, one of the world’s most devastating incurable diseases known to humanity. By this time in India’s history, this dreaded disease had already afflicted and taken the lives of thousands.
John’s father was working with his grandfather many miles away from home, while his mother stayed at home tending to his needs. His three siblings watched as their little brother continued to fade away from the disease. John’s flu-like symptoms increased. Burning rashes and disfiguring blisters plagued the young boy’s skin, causing the most excruciating pain. Unable to eat, drink, or sleep, John uttered small cries in desperation to relieve the agony.
“He will die either today or tomorrow,” the doctor whispered to his family. Due to the already rotting smell of his flesh, only his mother and grandmother sat praying by his side under the light of a kerosene lamp, even though they knew the disease was highly contagious.
At around 3 o’clock in the morning, a brilliant light flooded the dark room as he awaited death. John turned his head ever so slightly to see the origin of the light. The first thing he saw was a hand hovering over his head, as if the palm was just about to touch his forehead. Turning his head a little more to see who was next to him, to his amazement, he saw Jesus sitting and smiling by his side. John immediately shouted and jumped from his layer of banana leaves to embrace Jesus. As he did, Jesus disappeared from his sight. At that instant, John was unquestionably healed from this deadly affliction.
Assuming the shout to be the painful sign of the young boy’s death, his mother and grandmother cried in shock. John quickly held his mother’s arms and lifted her hands to his face to feel his smooth, flawless skin. “Don’t cry. I saw Jesus. Didn’t you? I felt the healing power of Jesus going through my body.” He felt hungry and straightaway asked for something to eat, as he had not eaten in days.
Seeing her youngest son healed of the disease, she took him in her arms and called for all the neighbors to see the miracle that had just taken place. Staring in the dark with gaping mouths, they saw the young boy running out of his small apartment, without a trace of smallpox on his body, searching for his friends to tell this amazing story to them personally. We praise God that, later in 1980, the World Health Organization declared smallpox eradicated after a global immunization campaign with the last known case in Somalia in 1977. Today, John has only two small scars above his left eye as a testimony to what the Lord had done for him.
In the years following, John contemplated about what he could do for Jesus, who saved and healed him. In 1984, at twenty years of age, he decided to go to seminary. John was ordained as a minister in 1996 with his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Master’s degree in Theology. After becoming ordained, he served many years as a missionary evangelist in the primitive jungles of Orissa state in Northern India where he befriended the natives and preached Jesus and His kingdom.
While in the mosquito-infested jungles of Orissa, John was subject to malaria fever multiple times. After having repeated life-threatening malaria, along with poor food and contaminated water supply, his health began to suffer. While considering how to effectively spread the Word of God in good health, he knew that it would no longer be possible to stay in the Orissa jungles. After spending a few days fasting and praying to get an answer from God, Rev. John had a vision in which he saw very clearly that God was going to use him mightily to spread His Kingdom to the nations. Not long after that, the Lord miraculously opened the door for him to come to America in 2001.
He continued spreading the Gospel throughout the United States with much enthusiasm and zeal. From East to West Coast, he told everyone about his childhood encounter with the Lord. With a burning passion to reach out effectively to the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, he decided to establish Divine Grace International Ministries in 2011, which is now incorporated and exempt under section 501 (c) (3) as a non-profit organization and public charity.
Rev. John would be privileged to speak about many of his other encounters with Jesus Christ over the years. He would also be more than happy to accept an invitation to speak his testimony and share his experiences.
